Manufacturing Design Engineer - Ballymena - Permanent Key Details: £Negotiable salary Ballymena Permanent 4-Day Week Monday-Thursday, 6.00am-4.30pm Riada are partnering with an established and highly innovative manufacturing business to appoint a Manufacturing Design Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work across product development, process improvement and advanced manufacturing projects, contributing to the continued growth and evolution of a market-leading operation. The Role Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, you will be involved in product design, prototyping, technical documentation, process development and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will also support the implementation and optimisation of advanced manufacturing technologies within a modern production environment. Key Responsibilities: Create and develop CAD/CAM files for new and existing products. Develop and test products for performance, safety and manufacturability. Produce technical drawings for suppliers, customers and production teams. Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and project documentation. Update and manage parametric product designs. Source components and materials. Develop SOPs and manufacturing best practices. Support continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives. Collaborate with production teams on product and process updates.
