Our client, a leader in the aerospace sector, is seeking a Qualification Engineer to join their team in developing safety-critical technology for aerospace applications. This is a permanent, site-based role with the potential to work from home one day a week, when the nature of the work permits. Due to the level of projects involved and security requirements, this role is restricted to UK and EU nationals only.Key Responsibilities:Capturing and deriving system requirementsSystem design, modelling, performance optimisation, and safety assessmentOverseeing hardware/software integration activitiesSystem verification including simulation, analysis, system tests, qualification tests, and flight testsSupport system certification and customer approvalFollow robust configuration control, review, and change management processesAssisting in the compilation of plans, estimates, task lists, and risk management plansWork with customers and respond to their requests in a timely and professional mannerCollaborate with other engineering disciplines and internal departments across the companyWork with external sub-contract organisations as requiredJob Requirements:Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer ScienceExperience in Systems EngineeringExperience in authoring plans, procedures, and reports for Qualification programmes (Environmental and EMC tests as per DO-160G or equivalent military standards)Strong written and verbal ..... full job details .....
