This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly specialist multidisciplinary team supporting young people and adults with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You''ll use a person-centred approach to help students develop essential communication, independence, and life skills, enabling them to achieve their educational and personal goals. The Role As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:Deliver specialist Speech and Language Therapy interventions at both universal and individual levels.Assess and manage students'' communication, eating and drinking needs using formal and informal assessment methods.Independently manage your own clinical caseload within a specialist education setting.Support learners with complex communication needs, including the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to embed communication strategies into everyday learning.Plan and deliver staff training, coaching and advice to ensure communication support is consistently implemented.Liaise with families and external professionals to ensure ..... full job details .....
