This-role-requires-hands-on-expertise-in-furniture-restoration,-including-upholstered,-flat-packed,-and-fully-constructed-pieces.-A-background-or-keen-interest-in-furniture-refurbishment-is-essential.

Key-Responsibilities

• Inspect-and-evaluate-damages-to-furniture-and-assign-appropriate-grades-based-on-our-grading-guide.
• Restore-and-refurbish-all-types-of-furniture,-including-upholstered-(leather-and-fabric),-flat-pack,-wooden,-dining,-and-bedroom-furniture.
• Address-issues-such-as-structural-damage,-cosmetic-blemishes,-missing-components,-and-upholstery-wear-or-tears.
• Perform-complex-repairs-like-frame-reinforcement,-joint-fixing,-sanding,-refinishing,-and-reupholstering.
• Accurately-record-product-details-in-cloud-based-spreadsheets-and-verify-pre-existing-information.
• Wrap-and-pack-restored-items-for-transport,-ensuring-they-meet-delivery-and-resale-standards.
• Follow-standard-operating-procedures-to-meet-daily,-weekly,-and-monthly-performance-targets.
• Adhere-to-safety-policies-and-promote-a-culture-of-safety-awareness-among-team-members.

Skills-and-Qualifications

Technical-Skills

• Proven-ability-to-repair-and-refurbish-furniture-in-any-of-the-following-categories:-upholstered,-wooden,-flat-pack,-dining,-or-bedroom.
• Skilled-in-the-use-of-hand-and-power-tools,-such-as-drills,-sanders,-staple-guns,-and-upholstery-tools.
• Familiarity-with-materials-used-in-furniture-manufacturing,-including-fabrics,-leather,-wood,-and-composite-materials.
