Credit Controller Salary: Up to £35,000 per annumType: PermanentLocation: Uxbridge areaWorking Pattern: Office-based, with one day per week working from home following successful completion of probation Our client is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships while ensuring outstanding payments are collected efficiently and professionally. The successful Credit Controller will play an important role in maintaining healthy cash flow, resolving account queries and working closely with internal teams to deliver an excellent service to customers. The Role Proactively manage customer accounts to ensure payments are received within agreed terms. Contact customers by telephone and email to collect outstanding invoices. Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts accurately. Investigate invoice queries and help resolve payment disputes promptly. Produce customer statements, payment reminders and copy invoices when required. Review customer credit limits and payment terms, making recommendations where appropriate. Assess new account applications and support credit checking processes. Place accounts on hold where necessary and escalate overdue accounts in line with company procedures.
