Our client, a UK-regulated international bank is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager - Commercial Real Estate to join its London-based corporate lending platform. The role focuses on originating, structuring, and managing UK commercial real estate and loan-against-property / BTL transactions, with full end-to-end ownership of client relationships. This is a front-office lending role offering genuine autonomy, supported by a well-resourced credit, risk, legal, and operations infrastructure.The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of UK CRE and asset-backed lending clients, ensuring high-quality origination, disciplined credit execution, and ongoing portfolio performance.Key responsibilities include:Origination of Commercial Real Estate / BTL transactions via direct sourcing, internal referrals, brokers, and professional intermediaries.Full credit ownership, including writing credit papers, coordinating with Risk, and presenting to Credit / Executive Committees.Managing transactions from approval through to drawdown, liaising with solicitors, valuers, operations, and internal stakeholdersOngoing portfolio management, covenant monitoring, reporting, and proactive risk managementDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, valuers, solicitors, and professional introducersIdentifying opportunities for cross-selling relevant banking products and servicesEnsuring all activity complies with internal policy, ..... full job details .....
