Job Title: Complex Admin Officer
Location: Newham

Rate: -18.92 hour

Term: 3-6 months with the possibility of being extended to 1 year

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Complex Admin Officer to join their Resident Services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to the borough''s diverse housing residents, focusing on compliance, enhanced communication, and fire safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to resident inquiries through various channels, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Conduct investigations into tenancy irregularities, including unlawful subletting and abandonment.
  • Provide expert advice on fire safety and housing compliance.
  • Support vulnerable residents in sustaining their tenancies, collaborating with relevant support networks.
  • Attend court or tribunals as necessary and manage tenancy breaches until resolution.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable understanding of multi-tenure housing management.
  • Specialist knowledge in areas such as fire safety, tenancy irregularities, and legal enforcement.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with residents and colleagues.
