Paralegal / Conveyancing Assistant

Location: Leicester

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Working pattern: Full time office

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant to join an established property team.

This is an opportunity for someone who already has a solid understanding of residential conveyancing and wants to continue developing their experience within a supportive team.

The role

• Supporting fee earners with residential conveyancing matters
• Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and other property transactions
• Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
• Carrying out property searches and dealing with enquiries
• Assisting with exchange and completion
• Maintaining accurate case management records
• Supporting the wider conveyancing team to ensure matters progress efficiently

About you

• Previous experience within residential conveyancing is essential
• Experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Paralegal or similar role
• Good understanding of the conveyancing process
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicating with clients and third parties
• Able to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team
• Keen to develop their knowledge and career within conveyancing
