Housing Support WorkerWe are seeking a Housing Support Worker to help people experiencing homelessness and complex needs maintain safe, stable accommodation in Middlesbrough.Position: Housing Support WorkerLocation: Middlesbrough, North EastSalary: £26,436 per annumHours: 37.5 hours per weekContract: PermanentClosing Date: 13th September 2026About the RoleJoin Depaul UK as a Housing Support Worker and help people experiencing homelessness and complex needs build greater stability and independence.You will manage a caseload of clients, providing practical and emotional support to help them maintain their accommodation, develop independent living skills and work towards their individual goals.This is a varied, community-based role combining direct support with practical tenancy and housing responsibilities. You do not need to be an experienced Housing Officer, but you will need experience supporting vulnerable people and the confidence to manage your own caseload. Training and support will be provided to develop your housing management knowledge.Key responsibilities include:Supporting people with complex needs to maintain their accommodation and build independenceProviding regular visits, practical support, advice and life-skills guidanceHelping clients manage rent, benefits, arrears and tenancy responsibilitiesCoordinating repairs and responding to property, landlord and contractor queriesResponding appropriately to safeguarding, anti-social behaviour and tenancy ..... full job details .....
