We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead and manage mechanical services contracts within the healthcare sector, specifically focusing on hospital maintenance and refurbishment projects. This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex mechanical installations while ensuring compliance with NHS and healthcare-specific regulations. Experience delivering healthcare contracts is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of mechanical contracts for hospital and healthcare facility projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to budget.
• Full financial responsibility for contracts including P&L, work quotations, budgeting etc.
• Liaise with NHS Trusts, hospital estates teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure all work meets stringent healthcare standards.
• Oversee planning, procurement, and resource allocation across multiple hospital projects.
• Monitor project/contract progress and proactively manage risk, changes, and potential delays.
• Lead, mentor, and support project engineers, site managers, and subcontractors on healthcare-specific technical and procedural standards
• Compile and manage project documentation including method statements, risk assessments, O&M manuals, and commissioning reports.
• Conduct regular site visits to hospital projects to ensure delivery quality and client satisfaction.
• Participate in tendering and pre-construction planning for upcoming hospital projects.

Key Specifications

• Minimum 5 years in a contracts/project management role, working way up through mechanical career path.
• Experience of working with steam & high & medium pressure systems is essential
• Proven track history delivery NHS/Critical Environment contracts.
• P&L experience
