As part of the Engineering Design team, you will be involved in producing a broad range of conceptual to fully detailed designs covering things such as District and Communal Heating Systems, Energy Centres, Trigeneration Solutions, and Heat Pumps. Due to the nature of the role, you will be involved in projects at a variety of stages and locations, utilising a range of technologies requiring initial conceptual work, site investigations, surveys, client meetings, project submissions, and presentations.Key responsibilities

Supporting the design of distributed energy schemes, energy centres, district heating networks, and other major projectsInterpreting, appraising, and documenting client requirementsCarrying out calculations, equipment selection, and process operationProducing schematics and detailed drawingsMaintaining an awareness of cost implications within the design processDealing with design issues and minimising their impactEnsuring compliance with CDM requirements and in-house processesConducting HAZOP studies and Risk AssessmentsAssisting in specifying mechanical aspects for tendering worksWhat you will need
