Astute Peoples Power Team are working with a public sector organisation responsible for district heating and energy infrastructure in Nottingham to recruit a Senior Service Technician to support the maintenance and operation of their district heating network and associated assets.The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the network, including the main Heat Station, district heating substations and associated CHP plant. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving faults, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.If you have the relevant experience (please see below) and are looking for a rewarding role in the Energy sector, then please apply.Responsibilities and duties: As the Senior Service Technician, you will be responsible for:Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the district heating network, substations and CHP plant.Installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, valves, pipework and heat exchangers.Diagnosing and resolving faults across the network, ensuring reliable operation and minimal disruption to customers.Carrying out plant isolations, issuing safety documentation and supporting statutory inspections.Coordinating daily work schedules, materials and resources, while supervising contractors where required.Supporting preventative maintenance, small-scale projects and plant improvements.Ensuring all activities ..... full job details .....
