Job Title:Consultant Mechanical Engineer (HydrostaticControl)

Salary:Circa £60,000

What you’ll bedoing:

Be responsible for the capture and approval offunctional requirements for Hydrostatic Control in accordance withcompany and programmeprocesses.

Deliver a coherent functional design forHydrostatic Control and wider AVCS, across mechanical systems,CandI equipment, HMI andsoftware.

Define test objectives, scenarios and sea trialsfor VandV of the design and integrated system, both for systemperformance and use by theoperator.

Provide technical specialist input, reviews andsupport for projects that are beyond immediatescope

Manage stakeholder engagement throughout the designto ensure that the solution meets the requirements of the RoyalNavy

Your skills andexperiences:

Comprehensive knowledge of Active Vehicle ControlSystemfunctionality

An understanding of complex controlsystems

Knowledge of hydrostatic control systems such astrim, compensation, hover and theiroperation

Demonstrable experience of applying systemsengineeringprinciples

Relevant STEM degree or equivalentexperience

CEng status or equivalent in a relevant subjectmatter/ workingtowards
