This company are a multi-million pound supplier of Industrial equipment into a range of sectors. Due to consistent growth this is a new role within the business.

In this role you will be responsible for the Mechanical Design of components, tooling and new products. You will also support the development of these through overseeing the Manufacturing and Project lead process.

This role would suit a Lead Design Engineer with practical experience who enjoys being involved from concept through to manufacture and wants long-term job stability.

The Role:

• Mechanical design of components, assemblies, tooling, and production fixtures
• Working closely with manufacturing to resolve engineering and production issues
• Monday - Friday days role within a manufacturing environment

The Person:

• Mechanical Engineering background
• Experience with CAD / Design
• Hands-on mindset with exposure to manufacturing, prototyping, or shop floor support
• Commutable to areas listed.
