Assembly Operative

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our client''s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in assembly processes, utilising both hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring that products are assembled efficiently and to the highest quality standards within a warehouse environment. This is a hands-on role where you will be a key part of a small, dedicated production team, building high-quality structures and components using timber and other materials. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am 4:00pm Pay: £12.50 £14.00 per hour The Role: As a Assembly Operative, you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of a variety of products. Working mainly in the factory, you will occasionally support installation and maintenance work on site. Key responsibilities include: Manufacturing and assembling components using timber, foam, and other materials Confident use of hand and power tools such as jigsaws, drills, routers, and nail/staple guns Assisting with both manual and CNC-assisted cutting processes Following build instructions to ensure quality and safety standards are met Working as part of a small, supportive team to meet project deadlines About You: Experience in timber construction or a similar practical role is preferred Ability to work with hand and power tools safely and confidently Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude Welding experience would be an advantage (not ..... full job details .....
