Head of Programme ManagementHybrid - York (2-3 days onsite) Salary: Up to £84,000 + benefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Programme Management to lead the strategic oversight, governance, and delivery of a complex portfolio of programmes and commercial projects within an innovation-focused organisation.Reporting to the Chief Finance andamp; Operations Officer, this role will provide leadership across multi-programme delivery, ensuring alignment to organisational strategy, effective governance, risk management, and successful outcomes realisation.Key responsibilities include:Leading complex multi-programme portfolios from mobilisation through to delivery and closureEstablishing robust governance, assurance, and reporting frameworksManaging programme risks, dependencies, financial oversight, and supplier relationshipsDriving cross-programme planning, prioritisation, and continuous improvementCoaching and leading Programme Managers within a Matrix-managed environmentEngaging senior stakeholders and executive leadership teamsKey experience required:Significant experience leading complex programme portfoliosStrong governance, assurance, and reporting expertiseProgramme management qualifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, or APMExcellent stakeholder management and executive communication skillsExperience managing risks, dependencies, suppliers, and Statements of WorkBackground within innovation, research, public sector, or regulated environments ..... full job details .....
