About the Role:
Our client, a leading distributor of high-quality plumbing products, is dedicated to serving the needs of plumber’s merchants across the UK. We are seeking a motivated Sales Manager to join our team and cover the North West and Scotland.
This is a fully field-based role, requiring a proactive individual who thrives on building strong relationships and driving sales growth within their designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly visit existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. B2B
- Sales Manager Growth: Drive sales and profitability by managing and expanding the customer base within the designated area.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with plumbers’ merchants, ensuring excellent customer service and support.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities. Use this information to inform sales strategies and identify potential growth areas.
- Product Promotion: Actively promote the company’s range of products, providing detailed product knowledge and technical support to customers.
- Organize and conduct product demonstrations and training sessions as needed.
- Reporting and Planning: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Sales Manager Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support the Sales Manager in executing sales strategies and meeting overall business goals.
- Sales experience is preferred but not essential.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products and technologies.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a large territory effectively.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
