Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are looking to recruit a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our experienced production team.
Role Overview
This role will be predominantly focused on TIG welding (approx. 90%), with some MIG welding (approx. 10%), alongside fabrication duties. You will be working on a variety of precision-engineered components and assemblies, often to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
- Undertake MIG welding where required
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Perform fabrication, fitting, and assembly of components
- Work across bespoke, prototype, and batch production projects
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and tolerances
- Conduct self-inspection and maintain accurate documentation
- Work collaboratively with machinists and production teams
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding (essential)
- Experience with MIG welding
- Strong fabrication skills
- Ability to read and work from technical/engineering drawings
- Experience working with materials such as:
- Stainless steel
- Aluminium
- Mild/carbon steel
- High attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and proactive approach
Desirable
- Experience within a precision engineering or subcontract manufacturing environment
- Previous exposure to industries such as motorsport, medical, or scientific sectors
- Welding qualifications or coded welding experience
- Experience working alongside CNC machining or fabrication teams
