TIG Welder / Fabricator (90% TIG / 10% MIG)

Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are looking to recruit a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our experienced production team.

Role Overview

This role will be predominantly focused on TIG welding (approx. 90%), with some MIG welding (approx. 10%), alongside fabrication duties. You will be working on a variety of precision-engineered components and assemblies, often to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
• Undertake MIG welding where required
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Perform fabrication, fitting, and assembly of components
• Work across bespoke, prototype, and batch production projects
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and tolerances
• Conduct self-inspection and maintain accurate documentation
• Work collaboratively with machinists and production teams
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in TIG welding (essential)
• Experience with MIG welding
• Strong fabrication skills
• Ability to read and work from technical/engineering drawings
• Experience working with materials such as:
  • Stainless steel
  • Aluminium
  • Mild/carbon steel
• High attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and proactive approach

Desirable

• Experience within a precision engineering or subcontract manufacturing environment
• Previous exposure to industries such as motorsport, medical, or scientific sectors
• Welding qualifications or coded welding experience
• Experience working alongside CNC machining or fabrication teams
