The Senior Compliance Officers will support the General Counsel and Group Head of Compliance in ensuring that their client''s across insurance, wealth and employee benefits businesses meet all internal and external compliance requirements.This role is a key part of the wider compliance function, working collaboratively across the business to ensure operations are conducted in line with applicable regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will bring strong compliance experience, ideally gained within financial services, and will provide practical, business-focused support across a broad range of compliance activities.Candidates will be required to work out of our clients offices south of Birmingham on a hybrid basis of 3 days per week and 2 days remote.Responsibilities:Ensure ongoing compliance with FCA and other relevant regulatory requirements, including oversight of regulatory filings, notifications, and reporting. Provide pragmatic regulatory advice, guidance, and challenge to first line teams, acting as an effective business partner and "critical friend." Support the implementation and embedding of regulatory frameworks, including Consumer Duty, Conduct Rules, and SMCR. Maintain and enhance compliance policies, procedures, systems, and records, ensuring they are aligned with regulatory expectations and effectively embedded across the organisation.
