A Service Engineer opportunity has become available with an established manufacturer supplying innovative thermal management systems across a range of growing industries. Service Engineer responsibilities include -

• Supporting servicing, maintenance and repair activities across customer sites.
• Working alongside experienced Service Engineers to replace mechanical and electrical components.
• Carrying out planned maintenance activities to minimise customer downtime.
• Following technical drawings, instructions and engineering procedures.
• Maintaining excellent health and safety standards whilst working on customer premises.

Service Engineer desirable skills and education -

• Experience in a similar role - MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Technician, Service Engineer or within a similar hands-on engineering environment.
• Time served, or Mechanical / Electrical educated (IMI, FGAS, BTEC, HNC or degree desirable).
• Basic hands-on experience with mechanical assembly (study, home projects or work-based).
• Experience working within automotive, commercial vehicle, HVAC, refrigeration, manufacturing or field service environments would be advantageous.
• Ability to follow technical drawings, instructions and assembly procedures.
