Higher Level Teaching AssistantPrimary School Full-Time Long-Term and Permanent OpportunitiesAspire People are recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a primary school setting.This role would suit an HLTA-qualified candidate, or someone with an equivalent level of experience and background who is ready to take on additional responsibility within a school.The Role: Supporting teaching and learning across the primary phase Leading small-group interventions and learning activities Delivering lessons or covering classes when required Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs Working alongside teachers to plan and adapt learning Supporting behaviour and positive classroom routines Monitoring and assessing pupil progress Providing guidance and support to other Teaching Assistants Taking responsibility for specific areas of provision where required Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and the wider school teamThe Ideal Candidate: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience/background Strong experience working within a UK primary school Confident leading groups and supporting teaching and learning Good understanding of the primary curriculum Strong behaviour management skills Able to work independently and use initiative Excellent communication and organisational skills Passionate about supporting pupil progressWhy Work with Aspire People?
