FLT Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an FLT driver to join a well-established recycling and waste management company in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced-FLT driver looking for a long-term position within a busy and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an electric-powered Counterbalance FLT with clamp and fork attachments.
  
  
• Load, unload and move materials safely throughout the site.
  
  
• Operate a wheeled loading shovel to transport recyclable materials and feed the recycling process.
  
  
• Manage traffic flow within the infeed hall while maintaining a safe working environment.
  
  
• Operate both single and twin RAM balers to produce bales ready for storage and dispatch.
  
  
• Carry out routine housekeeping and cleaning duties within the outfeed hall.
  
  
• Complete daily equipment checks and report any defects.
  
  
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and environmental regulations.
  
  
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the recycling operation.
  
  

What We''re Looking Fo

• Experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and Loading Shovel.
  
  
• A valid UK driving licence.
  
  
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
  
  
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• A flexible and reliable approach to work.
  
  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
