Our client, a reputable and growing construction contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable HandS professional to play a key role in maintaining high safety standards across a range of construction projects.The Role:The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of health, safety, and compliance across multiple sites. Working closely with operational teams and senior management, you will ensure the business remains compliant with current legislation while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Implement and maintain company health and safety policies and proceduresConduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with current UK health and safety legislationInvestigate incidents and provide recommendations for improvementDeliver toolbox talks and support ongoing staff trainingLiaise with site teams, subcontractors, and external bodiesPromote a strong health and safety culture across all projectsRequirements:Previous experience in a Health and Safety Manager role within the construction industryStrong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and regulationsNEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualificationExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple sites/projectsFull UK driving licence ..... full job details .....
