The Role This is a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to take full ownership of mechanical design within the business. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of bespoke machinery and automation systems from concept through to manufacture, testing and installation. The Mechanical Design Engineer will design new machinery from scratch, lead concept development, prototyping and RandD, and take designs through to manufacture. The Mechanical Design Engineer must be proficient in Autodesk Inventor and Vault. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is comfortable on the workshop floor and involved with machine builds as they are designing on screen.
