Job Role As a key member of Oakley Food Projects innovative and rapidly growing team, you will be responsible for the electrical design and specification of fit-out projects by producing technical electrical drawing plans. The successful candidate will join the internal design team at our vibrant open planned office, and will play a crucial role in future growth of the company. Key Responsibilities Be responsible for the electrical design and specification of fit-out projects. To work to specific requirements of a project and produce detailed technical drawings for power distribution and schedules, lighting, fire detection and alarm systems. Work systematically to ensure completion of tasks to meet strict deadlines and fulfil clients expectations as well as being able to work cross functionally with the Pre-Construction and Operations teams and able to communicate and explain technical information. Coordinate packages and produce high-level drawings that are functional, safe and compliant with Building Regs. Following specifications and calculations to technical drawings for food factories and staffing facilities within these. Communicate and work with electrical contractors to develop electrical designs. Take into consideration build costs when designing and look to value engineer where possible. Ensuring final designs are compliant with commercial building regulations.
