Lead Mechanical Operator - £2000 Welcome Bonus at TieTalent. Location: Slough.Salary: From £40,000 - £48,000 (inclusive of shift allowance) depending on experience. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 day, 2 nights, 4 off) 12 hour shifts. Take the lead for first line maintenance of several production machines including operational decisions to achieve targetsIdentify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machineryAccountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipmentUse diagnostic tools and methods to identify root causes of problemsCoordinate a small team of operators and temporary associates to achieve line targetsAssist operators with daily production tasks to ensure line targets are metWhat we are looking for

Minimum 1 year\''s experience managing and coordinating operatorsSkilled in diagnosing mechanical issues through systematic troubleshootingProficient in taking apart machinery to understand components and functionality, and reassemble to ensure optimal operationA keen eye for detail essential for identifying faults or inefficiencies in machinery and ensuring precision during assembly/disassemblyA commitment to ongoing improvement, including suggesting modifications to machinery or processes to enhance efficiency, safety, or performanceAbility to work effectively in teams, sharing insights and collaborating to implement improvements and resolve mechanical issuesWhat you can expect from the employer
