The Opportunity:

Supply Desk is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive primary school in St Albans from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Your Role Will Include:

• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel safe and motivated.
• Assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and subject leads.
• Establishing strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities, clubs, and school events.
• Upholding the schoolandrsquo;s values and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (UK or equivalent).
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferred, but strong KS1 teachers looking to transition are welcome).
• Is creative, adaptable, and passionate about delivering high-quality education.
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is reflective and open to feedback and professional growth.
• Has strong communication skills and is confident building relationships with families and colleagues.
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a valid enhanced DBS check.
