A growing organisation is looking to appoint a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support its finance function. This role is well suited to someone with existing accounting experience who is keen to progress their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have at least one yearandrsquo;s experience in an accounts role and will be studying towards, or have completed, an AAT qualification. Full study support may be available for those part-qualified. Confidence working across multiple entities and ledgers is essential, with intercompany experience considered a strong advantage.

Key responsibilities include:

  Performing reconciliations across multiple accounts

• 
  

  Processing import loans in line with agreed service levels

• 
  

  Maintaining and updating customer ledgers accurately

• 
  

  Supporting cashflow forecasting and reporting

• 
  

  Assisting with month-end processes and postings

• 
  

  Managing accounts for smaller entities, including bank reconciliations, stock records and VAT returns

The ideal candidate will have:

  At least one yearandrsquo;s experience in an accounting role

  AAT qualification (completed or in progress)

  Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel

  Desirable: experience with intercompany transactions
