Purchase Ledger Assistant 30,000Gillingham Our client, a successful fast-growing organisation, is currently seeking a Purchase ledger Assistant to join their current team. Key responsibilities: Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.Matching, batching, and coding invoices in line with company procedures.Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies promptly.Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payment runs via BACS and CHAPS.Maintaining up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.Dealing with supplier queries and building strong relationships with key vendors.Assisting with month-end processes including accruals and reporting.Monitoring the aged creditors report and ensuring timely payments.Liaising with internal departments to ensure PO/invoice queries are resolved.Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties and audits as required.
