Techniche Global are supporting Electronics Manufacturing firm based in Andover with appointing a Manufacturing Engineer who will assist senior engineers and management in the execution of tasks for various engineering projects. You will ccoordinate and carry out engineering activities to ensure the requirements for a product line or product group are met and complied with, in terms of forecasted output, product quality, adherence to specification and on time delivery. Location: Andover, Hampshire (site based) Salary: £40k-45k plus benefits Duration: permanent role Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08 00; Friday: 08 30 PRIMARY ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES Engineering Projects: Assist senior engineers and management in the execution of tasks for engineering projects. Communicate with project stakeholders the status of assigned tasks. Collect, present and analyse data for reports submitted for the purpose of project evaluation, Team Working: Work alongside other manufacturing engineers and more junior or graduate engineers on joint tasks; day-to-day tasks, medium/long-term projects, training, mentoring and development. Continuous Improvement: Develop processes and ensure best possible quality and reduce waste; increase efficiency by analysing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layout, identify, measure, monitor and report on process indicators or other measurables to help drive improvement.
