We are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to for a residential development in Catford (SE6). Responsible for overseeing 63 apartments, we are seeking a responsible, trustworthy, and proactive individual with previous residential maintenance and repairs experience who is willing to get stuck in. Whilst you will be working independently on-site, you also need to be a team player, as you will be a key contact for the Estate and Property Management teams We will require 2 years'' minimum of relevant experience. Repairs Conduct unskilled/skilled building repairs e.g. tightening of taps/doors/bolts, changing of bulbs, installing appliances, painting, and decoration, unblocking sinks, baths, etc.Inspection of reported defects to determine its severity as directed by the EMs and PMs. Compliance Carry out weekly compliance checks as required. (EML, Fire Alarm, AOV, etc)Conduct regular block inspection to ensure Fire Exits/walkways are always kept clear of obstruction. Compliance with Health and Safety and other relevant legislation that may be communicated.Weekly flushing of void property to prevent Legionella growth.Inspect and vet contractors'' job as advised by Property Manager.Manage day to day security and safety aspect of the Block.
