Are you an experienced Maintenance engineer, with a background in heavy machinery and PLC controlled equipment? Then this could be the role for you.

Working Pattern - Monday to Friday 8am -4.30pm

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Biased/multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer that can help propel the site to world class maintenance.

For this role candidates must have a passion for ensuring safety and quality of systems is maintained throughout the site, maintaining all the on-site systems and machinery, meaning experience with both mechanical and electrical engineering is essential.

The candidate must have sound knowledge and experience in electrical installation, including motors and inverter drives and have a passion for troubleshooting. Working at heights is a key requirement hence successful candidate should be comfortable operating a MEWP.

Main Responsibilities

Completion of planned preventative maintenance routines associated with all plant and equipment to include mechanical and electrical repair and refurbishment.
Resolution of ad-hoc breakdowns.
Proactive development of operational process and equipment to enhance the efficiency of the operation.
Utilise on a daily basis a maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Inspection and testing of equipment to ensure safe operation of the plant.
Supervision of visitors/contractors as required.
Supporting the business and production team as required.
Provide out of hour (Evenings and Weekends) cover on a rotational basis.

Skills and Qualifications

Highly skilled and experienced in electrical and mechanical engineering with a recognised electrical qualification.
Experience of and working with planned preventative maintenance systems.
Experience of complex electrical fault finding.
Experience of PLC systems (basic), motors, drives and electrical drawings.
