Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join Cambridgeshire County Council''s Children''s Services in Huntingdon. The successful candidate will primarily support the Children''s Assessment Service, while also providing management cover across Family Support and Safeguarding where required. Key Responsibilities Provide effective management and leadership to a team of social workers within the Children''s Assessment Service. Ensure high-quality assessments, care planning and safeguarding interventions are completed within statutory timescales. Provide management oversight of complex cases, ensuring risks are appropriately identified, assessed and managed. Support the service to achieve positive outcomes for children and families. Provide management cover and support across Family Support and Safeguarding services when required. Supervise, motivate and develop social workers, promoting high standards of practice and professional development. Monitor team performance, caseloads and statutory compliance against service expectations. Ensure children''s voices remain central to decision-making and practice. Work collaboratively with senior managers and multi-agency partners, including health, education and other safeguarding agencies.
