This newly created FTC role offers the opportunity to shape national conversations on issues affecting architecture, the built environment and public policy. The RoleYou''ll lead proactive and reactive media engagement, develop high-impact campaigns and translate complex policy issues into compelling stories that resonate with policymakers, members and the public. Working closely with Communications, Public Affairs and senior leaders, you''ll help raise the profile and influence of RIBA''s advocacy workKey responsibilities include:Delivering media and communications campaigns aligned to RIBA''s policy priorities.Building relationships with national, political, broadcast and trade journalists.Securing impactful media coverage and thought leadership opportunities.Translating complex policy issues into engaging content and messaging.Supporting policy launches, events, conferences and stakeholder engagement activity.Advising senior spokespeople and identifying opportunities to influence public debate.
