Role: Purview Data Officer
Location: Reading (Hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 - £69,000
Network IT are looking for a Purview Data Officer to join our clients Digital Data and Insights team, leading data cataloguing, classification, and governance using Azure Purview. Work with the Head of Data Management and Data Governance Manager to ensure data security, compliance, and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
£ Manage Azure Purview - Catalogue, classify, and track data lineage
£ Ensure Compliance - Enforce data governance policies and access controls
£ Monitor Data Quality - Address integrity issues with data owners
£ Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with IT, business units, and data stewards
£ Training and Support - Educate teams on Purview and best practices
£ Stay Updated - Adapt governance strategies to Purviews latest features
Experience
£ Azure Purview and Cloud Expertise - Hands-on experience with data cataloguing, classification and policy enforcement through Azure Purview
£ Governance and Security Knowledge - Strong understanding of data compliance, GDPR and access controls
£ Project and Stakeholder Management - Ability to coordinate teams and drive governance initiatives
£ Communication and Continuous Learning - Ability to educate stakeholders and stay updated on evolving best practice.
