Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (DOE)

We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a growing organisation in Lincolnshire operating within a fast-paced, operational environment.

This is not a purely transactional role. You’ll gain exposure to month-end accounting while playing a key part in strengthening processes and supporting wider finance initiatives.

Reporting into senior finance, you will support the smooth running of the finance function, assisting with month-end activities and contributing to continuous improvement across reporting and controls.

The business is focused on modernising its finance processes, so this role would suit someone proactive, curious and comfortable suggesting better ways of working.

• Support month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide support across general finance activities beyond accounts payable
• Help identify inefficiencies and improve reporting processes
• Support data accuracy and financial controls
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis as required

• Part-qualified (AAT or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of month-end accounting processes
• Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
• Comfortable with challenging manual processes and driving change
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Organised, collaborative and eager to develop
