Accounts Assistant - Manchester Area

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team in Manchester.

Salary: -26,000 - -32,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5.00pm or 9am to 5.30pm (30 minute lunch)

The role of the Accounts Assistant is to support the accountant and the wider management team.

• For this position the role will have a focus on bank and balance sheet reconciliations, requiring a high degree of accuracy and a good degree of numerical ability.
• Within this role, duties include processing daily cash and card takings and assisting with the sales ledger and purchase ledger to help ensure the smooth running of the team.
• This is a successful and busy motor retail business and you will be an important part of the accounting team and expected to bring enthusiasm and a good work ethic to the office.

*Experience in a motor trade accounts role is preferable.
