Senior Geoenvironmental ConsultantLocation: LeedsSalary: 42,000 - 47,000Job Type: Full-timeThe RoleA well-established and growing environmental consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their Leeds team.The role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of contaminated land and geoenvironmental projects, with responsibility for delivering technically robust investigations and assessments from initial planning through to completion.You will work closely with clients, contractors and other technical specialists, while also supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging and delivering Phase 1 and Phase 2 contaminated land assessments.Preparing Preliminary Risk Assessments, Environmental Site Assessments and Conceptual Site Models.Planning, specifying and managing intrusive ground investigations.Undertaking site work including soil and groundwater sampling, trial pitting and borehole investigations.Interpreting laboratory and ground investigation data.Preparing factual and interpretive technical reports.Developing remediation strategies and preparing remediation and verification reports.Providing technical advice on contaminated land and geoenvironmental risks.Managing project budgets, programmes and subcontractors.Liaising with clients, regulators, contractors and other project stakeholders.Preparing fee proposals and contributing to tenders and business development activities.Reviewing ..... full job details .....
