We are recruiting two positions currently. As the EandI Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of the electrical and instrumentation equipment at our various sites across North London, for minimal downtime and to minimise machine breakdowns by ensuring an effective PPM process is in place on all associated electrical and instrumentation machinery and equipment.Responsibilities
Provide an efficient breakdown repair service. Diagnosing running faults and ensuring effective repairs and improvements are conducted within minimum time scale.Implement PPM on Electrical and Instrumentation equipment to minimise machine breakdowns and reduce lead times.Carry out installation work to the required standards.Complete routine inspections and undertake preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains in good condition.Liaise with outside contractors on specific repairs/maintenance work.Ensure that all statutory obligations are continuously met.Be part of shift patterns, including nights and days.You may be on call to deal with operational emergencies.Requirements
NVQ level 3 or Trade certificateElectrical experience in a heavy-duty industrial environment (e.g., power station or equivalent)Experience with large-scale installation and PPM workExperience in analysis and repair of pneumatic systemsExperience in PLC controlled equipment (ideally Allen Bradley)Experience in variable speed drivesAbility to fault-find using electrical drawings with relevant technical experience in repair, installation and PPM work in heavy process industryBenefits
