BIG 4 Qualified ACA Global Retail Business Opportunity to Progress We are looking for a high-calibre Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team within a fast-paced retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4-Qualified ACA with strong technical accounting fundamentals who is looking to move into a commercially focused role. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the financial accounts, while working closely with stakeholders across the wider finance function and the business. The successful candidate will be technically strong, analytical and highly organised, with the ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven retail environment. Key Responsibilities Own and deliver key areas of the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accounts are complete, accurate and delivered within tight deadlines. Prepare and review monthly management and financial reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions. Maintain robust balance sheet controls and reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances promptly. Support the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end reporting requirements. Act as a key point of contact for the external audit, coordinating information requests and supporting the audit process.
