We are currently looking for an Estimator in the Leicester area to work for a leading social housing contractor, on a freelance basis. As the Estimator, you will be: Working from architectural and structural drawings and specifications in order to prepare and submit professional, accurate and competitive quotations that will generate business for the companyAttending and contributing to tender meetingsProcurement and negotiation of materials, sub/contractors, and equipmentTo work in conjunction with architects, engineers, project managers and clients to ratify/qualify their requirementsIdentify and quantify potential risk that may impact project costs.Track and document project costs and estimate revisionsTo act as point of contact for clients in the primary stages of any quote/project.Working closely with the design and sales director, contracts manager and operations directorAssist with general office duties (where required)We are looking for an Estimator who: Has relevant experience within social housing Holds a relevant qualification Able to work 5 days a week Able to commute to the office In return, the Estimator will receive: 250 - 350 a day Long term work Free on site parking If you''re interested in this estimator role, please apply online or call Alex on (phone number removed) ..... full job details .....
