You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, planning engaging activities, and working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential. What we are looking for

Holds a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare

Achieved GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English

Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development

Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Confident in implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining appropriate boundaries

Knowledge of keyworker systems, health and safety in a nursery setting, and equal opportunities

Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents

Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

The DetailsStart Date:

September 2025

FTE Salary range:

GLF Associate 2 Point 1 £22,986.66 to Point 16 £24,872 (DOE)

Pro-rata (actual) Starting Salary:

£17,722.21 to 19,316.94 (DOE)

Hours:

8:15am-3:15pm Monday - Friday, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time)

Permanent
