People Coordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Coordinator to come and join our team in this newly created role on a fixed term for 6 months. Location - This role is mainly working from home with one day a week in our London office (usually a Monday). There may also be occasional travel to other programme sites (currently Stoke-On-Trent, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Scotland). Salary - Up to £28,000 per annum DOE Employment Type - Fixed term for 6 months, 35 hours per week Team - People team About you We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following: Relevant qualification in HR such as an undergraduate degree or CIPD Level 3 or equivalent professional experience. Understanding of HR policies and practices and current best practices. Strong organisational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with different groups of people. Digitally savvy with excellent skills in Microsoft 365 and the ability to quickly learn new systems and digital tools. About the role The responsibilities of this role include: Completing the drafting of offer letters, employment contracts, addendums and any other relevant letters for peer review by the People Advisor. Ensuring the HRIS system and all people data including people files are always kept up to date.
