The Best Connection are currently looking for a hardworking reliable Class 1 driver with HIAB experience to join a fast past driving team on a temp-to-perm basis Class 1 / HIAB DriverWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break at 12:00 PM or aligned with tachograph requirements).Vehicles: 28t and 7.5t flatbeds (both equipped with HIABs). Leyland DAF and Isuzu CabsterKey Responsibilities:Loading: Load RSJ and steel beams onto flatbed trucks in the workshop (assisted by workshop staff and overhead crane) either in the morning or evening prior to dispatch.Securing: Safely strap and secure all steel loads before transit.Deliveries: Complete 1 to 4 drops per day across the London area.Offloading: Safely operate the HIAB to offload steel beams onto the kerbside or directly into properties via building openings.Requirements:Proven hands-on experience operating HIAB equipment is essential.
