In this position you will hold ultimate responsibility for the following duties / tasks:- Provide an outstanding level of customer service to both internal and external clients- Handling sea and trailer freight in the main with some air freight customs clearances using the CDS clearance system- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of import and export customs declarations- Ensure correct payment of duty and VAT- Manage the release of consignments at port- All aspects of CFSP and Customs Warehousing- Manage post clearance actionApplying candidates will possess:- Experience from working for a freight forwarder in an customs freight role- A broad understanding of the overall customs process- Knowledge of Import and Export Clearance systems such as CDS/Descartes/Chief/ASM/CNS/Destin8/BoxTop - Knowledge of the customs tariff- Excellent communication skills- Strong attention to detail- Exceptional IT skills- ..... full job details .....
