Our client is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to support and develop their Health and Safety standards within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is confident working on the shopfloor/factory, engaging with employees and managers, and driving practical improvements to workplace safety. Location: HenfieldJob Title: Health and Safety AdvisorSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 Key Responsibilities Provide practical HandS advice and guidance to managers and employees. Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments, ensuring actions are completed. Manage COSHH assessments and Safe Systems of Work. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions. Deliver HandS inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings. Maintain HandS records, registers and statutory documentation. Support emergency procedures, drills and contractor management. Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to identify hazards and improve safety controls. Drive HandS improvement projects and promote a positive safety culture across the site. Skills and Qualifications NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) - essential. IOSH membership or working towards membership. Proven HandS advisory experience within a Manufacturing, Recycling, Food Production or Factory environment - highly desirable.
