External Works Operative Full Time 40 Hours per Week Salary: Circa £30,900 per annum An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced External Works Operative to join a well-established social housing maintenance contractor. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance, helping to keep homes safe, secure and well maintained. The Role The External Works Operative will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of external maintenance and repair works, including: Fencing repairs and installations Brickwork and minor masonry repairs Groundworks and external hard landscaping Roofing and roofline repairs Guttering, fascias and soffits Diagnosing repairs and identifying associated works Completing pre-inspections where required Recording completed works, materials and job information using a handheld device Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times Requirements Proven experience carrying out external repairs and maintenance within domestic properties, ideally in the social housing sector Strong skills in fencing, brickwork, roofing, roofline repairs, guttering and groundworks The ability to diagnose repair issues and identify effective solutions Experience working safely at height and using power tools and appropriate PPE The ability to manage their own workload and consistently deliver work to a high standard Good communication and customer service skills Confidence using handheld ..... full job details .....
