The position will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of finance, improving reporting processes and working closely with senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.The RoleReporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for managing the finance function and ensuring accurate, timely and useful financial information is produced for the business.Responsibilities will include:• Preparing and reviewing monthly management information• Monitoring business performance against budget and reporting on variances• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting• Managing month-end and year-end processes• Preparing VAT returns• Improving internal systems, processes and financial controls• Developing and implementing financial procedures• Supporting operational projects and process improvement initiatives• Working closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge• Supporting improvements to payroll, HR record keeping and wider reporting processesThe CandidateThe successful candidate will be a confident and proactive finance professional with strong management accounting experience and the ability to work closely with senior leadership.You will be comfortable working in a broad role where you ..... full job details .....
