Housing Support WorkerLocation: Ryburn House, Clay Street, Halifax, HX1 4SGPay Rate: 12.85 PAYE or 17.14 Umbrella per hourHours: Full Time 37 hours per weekContract: Temporary until OctoberWorking Pattern: HybridRequirements: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle and Enhanced DBS check with Adult and Children''s Barred List checks required.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Housing Support Worker to support vulnerable individuals and families moving from temporary accommodation into settled housing, including supported accommodation, social housing and private rented accommodation.You will work with households at risk of homelessness, helping them overcome barriers, sustain tenancies and access the support they need to maintain long-term housing stability.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of individuals and families living in temporary accommodation or at risk of homelessness.Assess support needs and create tailored support plans.Assist clients with welfare benefits, budgeting and accessing health and support services.Support clients to secure and move into suitable long-term accommodation.Work closely with housing teams and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.Monitor tenancy sustainment and provide ongoing support where required.Maintain accurate case records and documentation.Attend case reviews, meetings and multi-agency discussions.About YouExperience working with vulnerable adults, individuals and families facing homelessness or multiple ..... full job details .....
