Our client is seeking a knowledgeable Water Treatment Account Manager to oversee new and existing client accounts within the South East region. Applicants must have a proven history of successfully managing closed system, cooling tower and steam boiler client accounts, to ensure repeat business and high levels of customer service. Experience / Qualifications:
- Successful track record as a Water Treatment Account Manager within a well-established outfit
- Strong technical knowledge, including ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- It would support applications to hold a science / environmental based degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience liaising with clients and handling interactions
- Proficient in the use of IT software, such as: Microsoft Office
The Role:
- Overseeing the management of new and existing Water Treatment client accounts, including contracts for: closed systems, cooling towers and steam boilers
- Being the key point of contact for clients, to provide support and technical advice
- Identifying areas for further business development and supporting the recruitment of new client accounts
- Upselling of services to existing clients
- Meeting clients on site to discuss requirements and sell company services
- Renewing of contracts to ensure repeat business
- Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients
- Meeting with Directors to monitor contract performance
